Pablo is…

a Spanish conductor, 3rd prize winner of the 2023 Siemens Hallé International Conductor´s Competition, graduate from the Royal College of Music London and 2018 nominee for the Nestlé & Salzburg Young Conductor Award. He has worked with orchestras including the Spanish National Radio Orchestra, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Ulster Orchestra, Britten Sinfonia, National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain, Waco Symphony, Hong Kong City Chamber Orchestra and Castilla y León Symphony, and conductors including Bernard Haitink, Leonard Slatkin, Paul Daniel and Lionel Bringuier. Currently the Principal Conductor of London based Orchestra Vitae, he is equally passionate in the symphonic and operatic genres. At his core, he is a strong advocate for music outreach and education, and for Spanish and Hispanic repertoire. Since 2019, he is an Ambassador of The Amber Trust UK, an organisation supporting blind and partially-sighted children through music tuition.

Balearic Symphony Orchestra

Since 2019 Pablo has been a regular guest conductor of the orchestra based in Mallorca, Spain, and in 2021 he completed two years as assistant to the orchestra and its music director, Pablo Mielgo.

Dani Howard: Orchestral Works

The much awaited album of Dani Howard´s orchestral works has been released by Rubicon Classics today. Recorded back in October 2022 with Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, this album was conducted by Pablo Urbina (Ellipsis, Coalescence and Argentum), and Michael Seal (Trombone Concerto and Argentum).
